This page will hopefully aid you in making a decision on what golf courses to play. The choices are many and most courses will provide you with the challenge and beautiful scenery you traveled so far to see. I have tried to give you information that I think most golfers want to know about a course they have never played. This includes yardages, slope, type of greens, designer, cost, and a summary of the course. Finally, I linked my site to the course site - just click the name of the course.I have included my must play list and personal comments if I played the course. Myrtle Beach is the golfing capital of the world and has some of the top notch courses to back up this claim. Some things to remember about low country golf. The air is humid and being at sea level definitely affects the distance and flight of the ball. Also, most courses have bermuda or a hybrid bermuda grass. You have to watch the grain on the greens. Be patient and play your game. Even a bad round at the course is better than being at work. Besides you can always go relax at the beach once you are finished.Life is good. May all your drives be straight and you play a round you will never forget. See you at the 19th hole! |
