RATES: $45 - $90 |
Like the name says, this is a traditional-style layout in the land of plantation-style courses. It features wide fairways, lots of sand, water in play on ten holes, seven holes in the marshes, large, undulating greens, and two island greens – one of them is a par 4. It’s a development course, so housing comes into play. This course has been recognized for many "women friendly" features by Golf For Women Magazine. Amenities/Facilities: Pro shop, snack bar, lessons, large practice area with a 43,000 square foot putting green Location: To get there from Myrtle Beach go South on Highway 17 to Litchfield Resort, approximately 20 miles. Turn right at the signal. (SOUTH MAP) |

Designer: Ron Garl Fairways: Bermuda Greens: Bermuda PERSONAL COMMENTS: It has been a while since I played this course. It was challenging but not overly hard. You can get yourself into trouble in many areas of this course if you don't have your 2nd shot down. Putting will bail you out of some bad scores, but undulations and bermuda can play havoc with this as well. I think it is worth playing, but wouldn't say it is a must play course. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
