In the area known for plantation courses, this is an old traditional-style course. It features tree-lined fairways with some roll, no parallel holes, doglegs and double doglegs, deep bunkers with Dye-like wooded sides and large greens. Water is in-play on 12 holes. While this course was never really anything to write home about, it was mismanaged for several years and got in real bad shape. The management group that took over promised great things and made some superficial tweaks, sadly to no avail, and it has again gone downhill.
