Water, water everywhere, but not much trouble when you’re accurate with your shots. Rising up from a 100-acre lake that winds throughout the course, water hazards can come into play on sixteen holes. It features wide landing areas and large greens to compensate for the water threats, and constant breeze. Their most difficult hole is the 409-yard, par 4, 9th where the entire hole is an island, with water surrounding both the fairway and green. Amenities/Facilities: clubhouse, Snack bar, putting green, driving range Location: On Highway 501 approximately 5 miles from Myrtle Beach. Exit at Carolina Forest entrance. Designer: Dan Maples PERSONAL COMMENTS: I have played this course some time ago. It has water everywhere but it is very fair. The island green shot definitely sticks out. I would rank this course in the middle of the pack. I recommend you play it as the course conditions are always excellent. There is nothing like putting and hitting from bent grass greens and fairways. Bring plenty of balls if you are not accurate. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
