Caledonia is the ancient Roman name for Scotland, and was originally a rice plantation. It is a relatively short course, but it has gained a reputation as one of the premier courses in America. Its known for its natural Low Country beauty and challenging layout. In 2002, it was rated No. 32 in Golf Magazine’s “Top 100 You Can Play,” and given a 4˝ Star rating in Golf Digest’s "Place to Play." In 2003, it was ranked No. 93 in Golf Digest’s “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses,” and No. 76 in Golfweek’s “America’s Best Modern Courses.”

Location:  South from Myrtle Beach approximately 25 miles on Highway 17 Bypass to Heritage entrance in Pawlevs Island. Turn right, proceed one mile. On left side. (SOUTH MAP)
