Arrowhead Country Club – While this course is fast becoming a housing project with a golf course, golfers still like it. This 27-hole complex has earned a reputation for its challenging layout and friendly people. It features three unique 9-hole tracts: The Waterway, The Lakes and The Cypress, each one with a feel and test all of its own. Old pro, Ray Floyd, worked closely with the architect Tom Jackson to successfully design one of the most unique and challenging golf facilities in the area, with the feel of courses set in the foot-hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Waterway nine is definitely the best tract with The Lakes a close second, while The Cypress is a distant 3rd.
